Steps

1. Turn off the water supply to your kitchen sink. This is typically done by turning the valve under the sink clockwise until it's snug. 2. Attach the hose bib adapter to the kitchen faucet. The hose bib adapter is a small brass fitting that screws onto the end of the kitchen faucet. Make sure that the adapter is tightened securely. 3. Connect the garden hose to the hose bib adapter. The garden hose should be screwed onto the hose bib adapter until it's hand-tight. 4. Turn on the water supply to your kitchen sink. Check for leaks around the connections. If you see any leaks, tighten the connections until they're snug. 5. Use the garden hose as needed. When you're finished using the garden hose, turn off the water supply to your kitchen sink and disconnect the hose from the hose bib adapter.
