Garbage Disposal Switch Under Sink

New garbage disposal switch
Phillips head screwdriver
Electrical tape
Wire strippers

Step 2: Turn Off the Power

Before you start working on the garbage disposal, it is important to turn off the power at the circuit breaker panel. This will help to prevent you from getting shocked.

Step 3: Disconnect the Old Switch

Once the power is off, you can begin disconnecting the old switch. Start by removing the two screws that are holding the switch in place. Then, carefully pull the switch out of the wall.

Step 4: Disconnect the Wires

Once the switch is out of the wall, you will need to disconnect the wires. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws on the terminals, and then pull the wires off. Be careful not to touch the bare wires, as this could cause you to get shocked.
