How To Hook Up A Dishwasher To Sink

Connecting a dishwasher to a kitchen sink is a relatively straightforward task that can be completed in a few hours. Dishwasher water supply line
Electrical cord

1/2-inch drill bit
3/8-inch drill bit

Step 2: Shut off the water supply to the sink.

Locate the water supply valves under the sink and turn them off. If there are no water supply valves, you will need to turn off the main water supply to the house.

Step 3: Disconnect the water supply lines from the sink.

Use an adjustable wrench to disconnect the hot and cold water supply lines from the sink. Be careful not to damage the pipes.

Step 4: Connect the dishwasher water supply line to the hot water supply valve.

Wrap the end of the dishwasher water supply line with Teflon tape and screw it onto the hot water supply valve. Tighten the connection with an adjustable wrench.
