Kitchen sink drain pipe
P-trap
Slip nut
Washer
Teflon tape
Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Remove the old drain pipe. Place a bucket under the sink to catch any water. Loosen the slip nut that connects the drain pipe to the P-trap using an adjustable wrench. Once the slip nut is loose, remove the old drain pipe.

2. Clean the drain hole. Use a scrub brush to clean any debris from the drain hole. This will ensure a good seal between the new drain pipe and the sink.

3. Apply Teflon tape. Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the new drain pipe. This will help to create a watertight seal.

4. Insert the drain pipe. Insert the new drain pipe into the drain hole. Make sure that the washer is in place between the drain pipe and the sink.
